Lars Thrane A/S

The LT-4200 Satellite Communications System (Iridium Certus® 200) is a maritime satellite communication product from Lars Thrane A/S. The LT-4200 system is designed for the professional market (deep sea, fishing, and workboats), but can be used for the leisure market as well. The LT-4200 system meets all standards and certification requirements needed for worldwide maritime satellite communication equipment.

PERFORMANCE

The LT-4200 system, utilizing the Iridium® Certus network, offers global voice and data capabilities. Comprising a control unit, antenna unit, handset, and cradle, it connects via a single coaxial cable allowing up to 150 meters of separation. This flexibility enables optimal antenna placement for satellite visibility.

Primarily for maritime use, it fulfills essential communication needs (ship to ship / ship to shore) with three voice channels and IP-data up to 176 kbps (up/down). Built to endure harsh sea conditions, it operates within a temperature range of -40⁰C to +55⁰C (-40⁰F to +131⁰F).

INSTALLATION
The LT-4200 system is very easy to install. Everything is included in the box to get started with the installation and operating the LT-4200 system. The control unit can be installed using either a bracket mount or flush mount. The antenna unit can be mounted using a pole mount (2.0″ pipe, Ø53.0mm, A4 Stainless). The control unit has a large 4.3″ TFT display, from where the system can be operated with overview and ease. The built-in webserver can be used for service and maintenance.

More than 40 years of experience have been put into the design and construction of the LT-4200 system, with an exceptional performance and specification level.
