INTELLIAN C700 GMDSS SYSTEM

The Intellian C700 GMDSS System is a cutting-edge, truly global GMDSS solution, fully recognized by the IMO and SOLAS Convention and certified for global coverage including polar regions. This all-in-one terminal supports all three required GMDSS services over Iridium: Distress Alert, Safety Voice, and Maritime Safety Information (MSI). In addition to these critical safety functions, it features standard voice calling, Long Range Identification Tracking (LRIT), and Ship Security Alert System (SSAS), making it a comprehensive solution for any vessel. For vessels that already have a C700 terminal installed, most Flag Administrations will accept upgrading these to a SOLAS-compliant GMDSS system with the addition of an SDT (Safety Display Terminal) and handset.

In high-stress distress situations, an intuitive, simple user interface is paramount; having all critical GMDSS functionalities accessible from one system reduces the cognitive load on the crew, minimizes the chance of errors, and speeds up response time, thereby directly enhancing maritime safety.

The C700 GMDSS System includes the C700 L-band above deck unit, below deck unit, Safety Display Terminal (SDT), mounting bracket, handset and cradle, providing everything you need for safety and communication at sea. For vessels already equipped with a standard C700 terminal, the system can be brought into full GMDSS compliance by integrating the SDT and handset components.

For seamless retrofit installations, should the new C700 GMDSS System differ in size from the equipment being replaced, our optional flush mounting plates are available. These expertly cover any existing openings or marks, ensuring a clean, professional finish on your vessel's bridge with no visible gaps.
